2016 might have been termed as a jinxed year for love- what with the news of so many couples parting ways- but there is one couple which is apparently still going strong… Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. And after years of being in the ‘neither confessing nor denying’ phase when Deepika finally admitted that Ranveer is her boyfriend, we happily dropped the ‘alleged’ tag from their relationship. While the duo’s often showcased PDA had us go all ‘awwww’ over the couple, Ranveer’s recent surprise for Deepika has taken cuteness to a whole new level. So Mr Singh decided to pay a surprise visit to his ladylove on Valentine’s Day and flew all the way to Canada to do so. For the uninitiated, Deepika is currently in Toronto, Canada, shooting for her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel – ‘XXX – The Return Of Xander Cage.’
As Bollywood is slowly recovering from the shock of two high-profile break-ups, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli and Katrina Kaif with Ranbir Kapoor, the romance of Ranveer singh and Deepika Padukone is blossoming in Toronto as the Bajirao Mastani-actor traveled all the way to Canada to be with his love on Valentine’s Day.
Deepika is busy shooting her first Hollywood movie xXx: The Return of Xander Cage along with Vin Diesel in Toronto and was unable to skip her schedule to be with Ranveer who is currently preparing for the shoot of his upcoming movie Befikre.
According to the Times of India, Ranveer took some time off before commencing the shoot of Befikre so that he could spend time with Deepika during Valentine’s Day. Ranveer, who wanted to surprise Deepika with his secret visit, left for Canada on Wednesday.
After landing at the airport, one of his fans took a picture of the actor and uploaded it on Instagram. It is rumored that Deepika introduced her boyfriend to her co-stars in the xXx shooting set and is in cloud nine after experiencing the romantic gesture of Ranveer.
