Sensational director Shankar, who is currently making the highest budgeted film of India, ‘2.o’, has updated the progress of the film through a cryptic message.
Just a while ago, the maverick director took to twitter to share, ‘2.o 2/3 150’. He indirectly conveyed that two third of the shooting of ‘2.o’ has been wrapped up in 150 days. He also shared a latest picture of himself and film’s lead actor, superstar Rajinikanth from the sets.
Shankar has recently finished the shooting of climax part of the film and he is currently filming a song featuring Rajinikanth and film’s lead actress Amy Jackson. Akshay Kumar is playing the main villain in this Lyca Productions venture. Made on a mammoth budget of Rs 350 crore, ‘2.o’ is the sequel to Shankar and Rajini’s earlier blockbuster ‘Robot’.
Shankar is planning to wrap up the shoot by this year and give more than six months to carve out the visual effects on par with international standards. This AR Rahman musical will be released across the world for Diwali 2017.
