Two senior most leaders from Chittoor district skipped the meeting conducted by TDP National President and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravathi.
Naidu held meeting with all Chittoor district leaders to ascertain the party performance and the preparations made for the party annual convention Mahanadu begins May 27 in Visakhapatnam.
Chittoor MP Siva Prasad and former minister B Gopalakrishna Reddy skipped the meeting. The two sulking leaders are staying away from party activities after Naidu son Lokesh was inducted in the state cabinet as IT Minister. Reddy has been removed from the cabinet. While Siva Prasad was angry for not allotting minister post to him in the union cabinet.
The two leaders raised a banner of revolt and also questioned Naidu for neglecting them in giving posts in the party as well as in the government. Speculations rife that Siva Prasad will quit the party soon. Gopalakrishna Reddy is also holding series of meetings with his followers to decide his political future
