Hyderabad: The Telangana Department of Transportation has decided that all motor vehicles entering AP Telangana will be treated as vehicles from other states. “The former Andhra Pradesh had given orders that pursuant to the provisions of Section 72 (1) of the 2014 Act AP Re-organization, the Governor of AP ruled that the quarterly tax paid for any quarter to the March 31 2015 in any of Successor States shall be deemed to have been paid both to the successor States and subsequently new governments decide on the matter. The order said: “In exercise of the powers conferred under Article 3 of the Law on Motor Vehicle Tax Telangana, 1963 (adapted GOMs.No.2 vide, TR & B (Tr.I) Department, dated 17/06 / 2014), hereby directs that all vehicles entering AP Telangana will be treated as other state vehicles and will be taxed at specified rates. ”
