Telangana CM KCR met for the first time on June 28 after YS Jagan took over as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The two discussed many issues during this time. The Godavari flood waters, especially the evacuation of the Krishna Basin and the partitioning issues, have been discussed among them. Jagan and KCR will meet again on Monday to discuss the matter of moving the wasted Godavari waters to Srisailam. Telangana Chief Minister KCR promised to cooperate in this regard. The meeting in Pragatibhavan, Hyderabad, in the wake of Monday’s visit was a priority.

In addition to the CMs, the two ministers of state, government advisers, dignitaries and engineers are also involved. The decision of the chief ministers in the past has been widely discussed by the heads of the two states. Proposals for this have been handed over to the chief ministers. Telangana CM KCR telephoned Jagan on Sunday and finalized the agenda items. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan will leave Tadepalli at 11.30 am to reach Lotus Pond in Hyderabad. From there you will reach Pragati Bhavan and meet with KCR. Lunch will also be made there.

They will also discuss the full utilization of Godavari and Krishna river basins and the separation of companies in the Nineteenth and 10th Schedule. In addition to this, it is expected to discuss the central government’s attitude towards the revenue collection, central co-operation, fund allocation and Telugu state in the wake of the recession. For the first time, on June 28, there were government-level talks. Later, Jagan and KCR discussed it on several occasions.

The implications of the ninth and tenth schedules have already been met with ratification among the CMs. KCR and Jagan will clarify on this issue. Consensus is likely to emerge, particularly for companies like Upmel. Telangana and AP are already cooperating with the authorities for the transfer, implementation of schemes and programs. Secretariat and Assembly buildings assigned to the AP were handed over to Telangana. The government of Jagan has issued orders for the transfer of Telangana employees working in AP. Telangana officials were involved in the design of the new sand policy in AP.
