Actress Kajal Aggarwal said Tuesday that she is horrified after hearing about her arrest of director Puttkar Ronson Josephs in connection with a drug racket.
“I am absolutely shocked and horrified by this whole incident with Ronnie, I am in zero support of this and any behavior that is harmful to the hygiene of our society,” Kajal tweeted Tuesday.
“That said, just because I care about people who run errands for me does not imply that I can control their lives / personal choices.
“My parents have always run my career and with everyone else in my industry, I share an extremely professional and cordial relationship, I am not aware of their whereabouts and activities once their professional duties towards me have been completed,” he added. .
Puttkar was arrested Monday from his home in Manikonda. Narcotic substances were recovered from his possession.
Telangana Prohibition and Excision authorities are questioning personalities in the Telugu film industry in connection with the case.
On Tuesday, art director Dharma Rao appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the racket.
