Twin Murders in US: Parents Accused Rao!
Just a couple of hours ago, we have reported about a homicide in the US in which two Telugu people (a Woman and a child) were found dead at Burlington in New Jersey on Friday.
The victims were identified as Sashikala (40) and her son Haneesh Sai (7). Hanumantha Rao, a software engineer working in the US, reportedly found his wife and son lying in a pool of blood in his house when he returned from office. The couple hails from Prakasam district in AP.
It was assumed to be another hate crime against Indians which is rampant after Trump became the President. But, Sashikala’s parents who live in Vijayawada, have accused their son-in-law of plotting the twin-murders. They alleged that Hanumantha Rao has been having extramarital affairs and that their daughter has several times shared her grief with them on phone.
They added that Rao plotted the murder of their daughter and grandson so that he could legally continue his illicit affairs.
On the other hand, local police have registered a case and they are conducting the investigation from all possible angles. More details are awaited.
