WhatsApp to add the new “night mode” to the camera application
WhatsApp with a user base of about $ 1.2 billion, is among the most popular chat applications around the world. Application brokers are constantly looking for ways to improve the user experience on the chat platform. As first reported by PhoneRadar, WhatsApp is planning on adding a new “Night Mode” to the app’s camera.
The report suggests that the latest feature is specifically designed to deliver photos in low light conditions. How does it work? Users simply touch the crescent icon in the upper right corner of the camera and click on the image in the “Dark Mode” filter.
As noted by the 360 devices, the “night mode” is displayed by default only when the camera sensor detects low light conditions. “The icon changes color to yellow to show that night mode is turned on. The function is only available in photos, and we have not noticed any changes in the lighting during video recording, nor the WhatsApp night mode icon in Video mode, “the report reads.
The “Night Mode” feature is only available for the latest version of WhatsApp for iPhone from now on. This feature will be released soon on Android.
