WhatsApp is undoubtedly one of the most popular chat applications in the world. The company realizes the growing need of its users and therefore constantly works on introducing better features to enhance the overall experience. A new report from Express UK suggests that WhatsApp, owned by Facebook, is planning to add new features.
The first feature will basically allow users to change the font using the application’s text selection toolbar. Last year, WhatsApp introduced new fonts in bold, italic and strikethrough, along with the fixedsys monospace font. However, it took a lot of effort for users to manually change the font themselves. That is about to change. The app is apparently using the Android M customizable floating text toolbar that allows users to change the font style simply by selecting the text and choosing one from the toolbar. Another important feature that is set to reach the application is the new emoji search option. Users will now automatically discover emojis based on a word or some characters.
Both features are available in the latest WhatsApp beta.
